Our unique and exclusive fermentation process ensures only active, viable bacteria and pre-digested natural nutrients enter the body.
When food is fermented, the growth of ‘good’ micro-organisms is encouraged, preventing the growth of bacteria which may cause spoilage. Fermentation occurs with the exclusion of oxygen and the production of carbon dioxide. The starter culture converts the sugar within the manuka honey to acid and other substances. Carbon dioxide gas will be produced as a by-product, forming bubbles at the top. The process of fermentation has been used for many centuries across different cultures as a natural preservation method for fruit and vegetables. All Bio E products are free from artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives. All the nutrients which are contained within the ingredients used in Bio E products are preserved with the fermentation method. Because they are pre-digested, when the beneficial bacteria are coupled with active enzymes, it is more effectively absorbed and broken down, making it more likely to be utilised by the body.
